Before you subscribe, know the gates
At least 100 movies in your seenlist.
AI asks need enough signal to reason from. Below the floor, Movieo shows a progress ramp instead of a paywall — rate and mark movies until you cross it.
Monthly quotas are hard limits.
Batches and Picks reset monthly; there is no unmetered generation on any plan.
New accounts try Max first.
Every signup gets 30 days of Movieo Max free, then keeps one free AI recommendation after the trial ends.
What happens if you cancel
Full access continues to the end of the billing period. After that you keep read-only access to everything already generated — recommendations, picks, reports, roasts. Generating anything new requires reactivating. Your lists and history are untouched and stay exportable at all times.
What Premium is not
Recommendation batches and Movieo Picks can’t invent films — their candidates are retrieved from Movieo’s own catalog, filtered through your record, before the AI ranks them. No tool promises you’ll love every pick; recommendations state a reason each, and an honest caveat when there is one. And nothing here plays the film: Movieo shows where a movie is available and stops there.

Do I need a certain number of movies?
Yes. AI asks need at least 100 movies in your seenlist to reason from. Importing your history is the fastest way to get there.
What does the free trial include?
Every new account starts with 30 days of Movieo Max free, and keeps one free AI recommendation after the trial ends.
How is payment handled?
Payments are processed by Stripe. You subscribe in Stripe Checkout and manage or cancel in Stripe's billing portal.
New accounts include the 30-day Max trial automatically — nothing to activate.
