One question decides most plan choices: do you want the taste analytics and the two-person picks, or just the core AI loop? Here’s the whole ledger, quotas included.
Premium sells exactly one thing — the AI taste layer on top of your record. Everything else stays free. Work through it in this order:
- Start with the free 30 days of Max. Every new account gets the full Movieo Max feature set for a month. Use it to judge the taste layer on your own history, not on promises.
- Mind the 100-movie floor. AI asks need at least 100 movies in your seenlist before they unlock — below that Movieo shows a progress ramp, not a paywall. An import from IMDb or iCheckMovies is the quick way to the floor.
- Know what never costs anything. Browsing and filtering the full catalog, the seenlist, watchlist and blacklist, creating and publishing lists, comments and votes, import, restore and full export — all free, trial or no trial.
- Choose Studio for the core AI loop. Movieo Studio is €4.99/month: 25 personal recommendation batches and 50 Movieo Picks per month, plus taste twins — discovery through users whose lists overlap yours — and the taste profile dashboard.
- Choose Max if you ask a lot. Movieo Max is €9.99/month: twice Studio’s quota, 50 recommendation batches and 100 Movieo Picks per month.
- Cancel without losing your record. Cancel anytime. You keep read-only access to content already generated for you, and your lists were never premium to begin with — they stay free, editable and exportable.
