Nothing new under the sun, but Padrai spices things up just enough.

The larger problems are the usual ones for low-budget romcoms: haphazard plotting, clumsily staged and overly broad comedy and clunky dialogue.
Mike Hale, New York Times

Inspires little more than eye-rolling and impatient finger-tapping.
Andrew Schenker, Time Out New York

A bright, colorful slab of faux-multiculturalism, When Harry Tries to Marry is a substandard romantic comedy gussied up in Indian drag.
