In the middle of this crossed-fire is - an infected woman - Ultraviolet, who finds herself protecting a nine-year-old boy who has been marked for death by the human government as he is believed to be a threat to humans.

Critics on Rotten Tomatoes
Top critics, in their words
Despite the expository speeches draped over this like birthday bunting, the story remains largely incomprehensible.
Derivative, adolescent tosh.
Ultra-dumb.
Wimmer borrows all his best ideas from other movies...then spackles over his half-assed plot with a shiny aesthetic.
