Overview
Massimo sings in a rock band along with his friends. When a producer refuses to cut them a record unless they hire an "ethnic" singer to spice up the act, he unsuccessfully pursues Jing, a Chinese girl with a beautiful voice who's utterly disinterested in both him and rock, to get her to join. She pretends to have suddenly changed her mind and starts dating him, as well as singing for the band, in order to escape an arranged marriage. Rehearsing ahead of the pivotal audition, however, Massimo and Jing begin to know and like each other more and more, complicating the secretly fake nature of their relationship.
