Overview
Minami mistakenly kills a gangster associate of his named Brother. Almost as soon as the murder takes place, the body of the deceased man is gone, prompting Minami to conduct a search. While looking, he finds a mysterious isolated hotel where he decides to take a rest. Not only are the front desk clerks a bit strange, but even the ambiance feels unusual. Minami soon realizes he may have gotten more than he bargained for.

Critics on Rotten Tomatoes
Top critics, in their words
Plays like the rantings of a madman, but a pretty entertaining madman.
For Miike freaks only (and you know who you are). Everyone else: Stay far, far away.
There is something compelling about the way this film sneakily taps into our collective psychosexual fantasies.
Makes little sense on paper. As a film, however, it somehow feels richly, hilariously real, even -- at its most bizarre -- familiar.
