Gao Yuanyuan makes for a sympathetic heroine, but the satire has little punch and not much wit, and too much of the film consists of people talking about how they feel about things.
Overview
The story of three women whose worlds collide - a social commentary about the 'sound bite' society we are becoming, where perception becomes reality and judgments based on limited facts quickly spread, without regard for the truth or the damage they could cause.

Critics on Rotten Tomatoes
Top critics, in their words
This isn't a success, but it has insight and energy.
A sappy mix of issue drama, social satire, and tragic romance ...
The director goes after both old-media exploitation and new-media omnipresence, and the result is less than cutting.
A messy collision of strained portrayals, semi-comic incidents and tear-jerking tactics.
